Equality has been a struggle for the world since the beginning of time. When you treat people as less than yourself or your peer, there is an imbalance. People are different and should be noted as such.
I got the chance to sit down and talk with my friend and Red Chair Council member Mike O'Neill. Here is the podcast or you can listen to it anywhere you find your favorite podcasts. Don't forget to like it and subscribe to his show.
“Whenever I get stuck on something, I’m like, ‘What would I do if I wasn’t afraid? What would I write if I wasn’t afraid? What would I say in this situation if I wasn’t afraid?’” – Phoebe Waller-Bridge
Sometimes we can get stuck in life or on a project at work and we cannot seem to find the solution. Sometimes it is fear that holds us in place and other times it is something much bigger saying hold on.
What happens when you are faced with your own mortality? How do you respond? What have you done?
I got a chance to sit down and talk to Maya Lombarts from the Healthy High Achievers community and have a discussion about mental health and how we can work through some issues through conversations and getting help from others.
I am not sure the thing that taught me to be open to experiences and take chances, but it seems to always have been a part of my life. Do you want to help people or make a contribution? Helping people implies that they have a problem and can put people on the defensive. If we contribute then we are a guide along the path. We can collaborate with people and maybe find a beneficial solution. On this podcast, Sales Made Easy with Harry Spaight, we talk about:
The Red Chair Experience
What was the inspiration for the book
What can you you get from the book
What is a red chair experience and how do you find yours
Some are great successes other are tragedies, and still others are great comedies.
What is your story or one of your stories? What did you learn? How has it helped you or others?
We can learn so much from life if we just pay attention.
One of mine is about my younger brother. It involves all of the above. I share this because maybe someone needs to hear this today.
I hope this helps someone be able to tell their story. Know that you are not alone and there are plenty of people that are available to listen to you, if you want to talk.
